The founder of Gunderson Safety, Terry Gunderson, CSP, is a seasoned Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Profession with many years of experience in the areas of Safety Program development, safety training development & delivery, and EHS auditing. Having spent 20+ years in the EHS arena, the exposure to numerous safety cultures & programs has occurred within several industries; to include oil & gas, construction (prime/general contractors and multiple construction trades), large and mid-sized manufacturing operations, steel foundry's and manufacturing, national retail operations, high-tech, biotechnology and local government.
The effective implementation of the right Safety Program will inherently differ from one organization to another; but the implicit goals will never change. With the reduction/elimination of workplace injuries, a company's direct and indirect costs associated with safety performance will certainly be reduced; but most importantly, the needless physical, psychological and financial pain and suffering of the workforce will also be reduced, and hopefully eliminated.
